David Hockney My Window published by Taschen — 5.59″ × 7.60″
David Hockney My Window collects David Hockney’s iPhone and iPad paintings of the view from his window, turning repeated observation of weather, flowers, light, and season into a compact record of time passing.
“This belongs in my library because the small format suits the intimacy of private, repeated observations and encourages frequent return. I like books whose value becomes clearer the longer one lives with them.”

Publisher / Heritage
Taschen was founded by Benedikt Taschen in Cologne in 1980 and remains an independent, family-run publisher. Its illustrated program spans art, architecture, design, photography, fashion, film, travel, lifestyle, and visual culture, with formats ranging from compact series to large-scale monographs, facsimiles, and collector editions. Across these books, reproduction, book design, and physical scale are treated as part of the editorial experience.
